Before my first attempt MTB-ing, I did not dare to drop the bike down some stairs in front of the house. However, in L2A I was able to go all the way down the glacier to the village after only two days! Great support of the guide and long miles of training helped me a lot! And not to mention the breathtaking views from the glacier!
