Above all, our days are filled with adventure activities around Slovenia in outstanding natural environments. Due to that, we organize daily trips to different venues with new sports activities on a menu every day! Furthermore, all the sports activities are guided by professional, local guides and will keep your children engaged all day long. Among others, you will try kayaking, rafting, climbing, SUP-ing and many more!

However, this holiday is not only about adventure sports. In the afternoon, you will also have time to do some cultural sightseeing around Ljubljana. Similarly, on your free days you can opt for a day trip to Kranjska Gora and the World Cup Planica ski jumps or the Unesco protected Škocjan Caves.

Staying in the capital Ljubljana

During the holiday, you will be staying in a cozy family hotel, located right in the center of Ljubljana! Hence, this fairy-tale capital city will instantly amaze you with its charm. Ljubljana is considered to be a very safe destination, therefore a perfect location for your family holidays! Every afternoon, you will have plenty of time to explore the city on your own terms. Although small in size, it has everything! You can explore the historical city center, climb up the castle (or use a funicular) and walk around the promenade side by side to the river. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes, museums, fun family activities, shops, parks to choose from!

Day 1 - Saturday: Arrival to Slovenia

  • Arrive at Ljubljana airport and head up to the hotel in the city center of Ljubljana (only 20 min away!).
  • Enjoy the free afternoon in Ljubljana.
  • Meet with the guide and other families and head for a city tour, followed by a welcome gala meal.

Day 2 - Sunday: Kayaking on Krka river

  • Morning breakfast in the hotel with other families.
  • Private shuttle to the activity venue in the village of Krka.
  • Meeting with the activity leader, prep talk and equipment service.
  • Introduction to the river kayaking, followed by a 1,5h trip on Krka river (the river is on grade 1 and 2 rapids covering a 9 km stretch)
  • Organized lunch (not included in the price) in a local agritourism farm near the river.
  • Shuttle back to Ljubljana and free evening.

Day 3 - Monday: Adventure park in Krvavec

  • Morning breakfast in the hotel to collect the energy for the new day.
  • Private shuttle towards the nearest ski resort Krvavec – only 15 min away. Due to different landscape and climate, do bring an extra layer!
  • 4 activities included in your park admission: return journey by cable car, archery competition, high-ropes park and mountain monster rollers.
  • Lunch break (not included in price) in a mountain hut.
  • Afternoon return to the hotel and relax.

Day 4 - Tuesday: Lake Bled and water rafting

  • Morning breakfast in the hotel to gain energy for the whole day.
  • Private shuttle departure to white water rafting in Bled region on Sava river.
  • Meeting with the activity leader, prep talk and equipment service.
  • Introduction to the white water rafting, followed by a 2h trip on epic Sava river (lots of fun, with stops along the way!)
  • Lunch break at iconic Lake Bled (not included in price) and free afternoon for swimming or hiking.
  • Late afternoon return to the hotel and relax.
  • Optional dinner in a local pizzeria!

Day 5 - Wednesday: Free day

  • Morning breakfast in the hotel with other families
  • Optional activity for the day. You can choose from a simple city tour, waterpark visit, hiking tour, visit to Unesco protected Škocjan Caves, zip line in Planica or Kranjska Gora venue and many more.

Day 6 - Thursday: SUP day

  • Morning breakfast in the hotel with other families.
  • Meeting with the tour leader and a short half an hour stroll to the River club in Ljubljana.
  • Meeting with the activity leader, prep talk and equipment service.
  • Introduction to the SUP boarding, followed by a 2h trip on Ljubljanica river (lots of fun, with stops along the way!)
  • BBQ on spot after the activity (included in price)
  • Organized fun Olympic games of unusual sports with tour leaders.
  • Free walk back to the hotel.

Day 7 - Friday: Free day and a gala dinner

  • Morning breakfast in the hotel with other families.
  • Optional activity for the day. You can choose from a simple city tour, waterpark visit, hiking tour, visit to Unesco protected Škocjan Caves, zip line in Planica or Kranjska Gora venue and many more.
  • Gala dinner in a local restaurant to finish the holidays in style.

Day 8 - Saturday: Departure day

  • Morning breakfast in the hotel with other families.
  • Airport shuttles during the day regarding your flights. See you next time!

Your adventure guides are local and experienced professionals who have a real passion for outdoor activities and for the culture and landscape.
 Your safety is their number one priority, closely followed by your enjoyment of the tour. They will always be on-hand to answer any questions or requests you may have throughout your trip. We choose our guides for their expertise in outdoor activities. They are experts in their fields.
We only run small group adventures to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible and not get lost in the crowd. There will generally be between 7 and 14 people in each group. The minimum number of people we require to run our tours is 4.
As this is a family package, we normally host families here. However, we do have some basic requirements for this package as well:
  • The minimum age is 12 years old to join this holiday.
  • All travelers must be moderately fit to book and participate on this holiday.
  • All family members must be able to cycle & swim competently.
  • Any Health, fitness or behavioral challenges must be disclosed to us before booking.
We recommend following a general training in the weeks leading up to your trip.
 Your guide will be very happy to give you some introduction to sports training during your trip to help improve your confidence and enjoyment of your adventure.
As fellow sports enthusiasts, we understand the comfort you may find in riding with your own gear. Due to things can get a bit challenging when it comes to traveling please consult our booking manager prior to departure.
You will never have to worry about your bags on tour. You only need to carry a daypack with you whilst riding. We have a support vehicle and driver who will transfer your luggage to your next accommodation each day, and have it ready and waiting for your arrival.
On your holiday you will be staying in a range of comfortable, welcoming local accommodations, including traditional guest houses, small hotels, and a boutique hotel. For details please consult with your booking manager.
Travelling light is the key. Make sure that you have plenty of layers of breathable clothing to ensure that you are always warm enough and can remove a layer if you get too hot. 
You can also discuss with your travel manager of the current weather conditions a week prior to your arrival.
Where the meals are included in LABEL itineraries they are in a group setting. 
Your LABEL guide will also be with you during these scheduled meals. 
During the meals that are not included in the itinerary, you are free to choose where you would like to dine. Your guide will advise you of the best places to dine. You can choose to join with others and decide to dine together somewhere or if you desire some independent time, you are also always welcome to do your own thing.
Medical insurance is mandatory for all of our holidays. We also recommend trip cancellation insurance. Contact your booking manager and we will help you choose the right plan for your holiday.
Many of our travelers join as singles. We charge single supplement fee to solo travelers for single room use. But don’t worry, we can pair you with another traveler of the same gender if you like.

A single supplement is an additional charge for a private room for guests travelling alone.
The cost of our holidays does not include international airfare. The prices vary depending on the season and the point of departure.
We can arrange early arrivals and extended visits. We will be happy to provide suggestions and ideas.
