You will cycle on less-traveled roads of Slovenia`s Alpine region, so no bother with too much traffic. The Julian Alps are a hidden treasure for all col collectors in good physical condition. However, routes may vary slightly on the day depending on the weather and ability of the group.
Location: Kranjska Gora is a small but lively Alpine town in a lovely mountain setting. It is located in northwestern Slovenia close to the Austrian and Italian borders. The village has all of the amenities that you would need in a modern ski resort. There are supermarkets, a bank, a post office, a well-equipped medical center, a tourist information office, several sports shops. There are numerous bars and restaurants. Although there are several large hotels, the village center retains its own identity. The area is full of nice neighboring villages worth visit. Such as world-famous ski jumps at Planica and a spectacular waterfall in Mojstrana. Out of the ski season, Kranjska Gora becomes a very popular base for walking and mountain biking holidays. The popularity of this region grows yearly, and all we can say is, come and experience it yourself!

Day 1 – Friday: Arrive and get set
- Arrive at Ljubljana Airport, short transfer to your hotel (40 minutes)
- Set up your bikes
- Enjoy the first dinner (not included in price) and get to know each other
Day 2 – Saturday: Warm up ride
Riding: 66km spin with 1250m of climbing over Pokljuka mountain plateau, descending to famous Bohinj & Bled lakes for typical local dessert.
- Enjoy a big fresh breakfast and get ready for a warm-up day in the saddle.
- Return to base and relax on the sun terrace, replenishing glycogen stores in your muscles for tomorrow`s big day.
Day 3 - Sunday: Big mountain stage
Riding: 110km and 2800m of climbing third day`s stage take us over Slovenian highest Alpine pass Vršič and it`s historical cobbled hairpins. After a long descent, you may decide on climbing country’s highest motorable road to Mangart with its famous rock-carved tunnels. We’ll descend over Col d Predil into Italy and finish with a nice flat section to cool down after a long day.
- Time to put all that training to good use!
- Afterward, unwind and relax in the hotel.
- Evening departure for Ljubljana Airport.
